Dear friends and colleagues,

I'm organizing a special session on "Modeling and Optimization in
Computational Biology" at the MCO 2015 conference to be held in Metz in
May 2015 (http://www.lita.univ-lorraine.fr/iccsama2015/MCO/index.php).

The conference proceedings will be published in the series Advances in
Intelligent Systems and Computing (Springer).

The special session welcomes contributions on the use of modeling and
optimization techniques in all sub-disciplines of computational biology.
On the methods side, the scope includes statistical and combinatorial
models, maximum-likelihood methods, integer linear programming, and
fixed parameter tractability. On the applications side, topics of
interest include genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, population
genetics, systems biology, and cancer.
